Teacapan tropical tour
The fisherman’s port of Teacapan, is located 105 miles south of Mazatlan, it counts with a great diversity of sightseeing which highlights are : The bird island , home of the beautiful pink heron and more than 55 species of tropical birds that come to do their nesting during the whole year.
In addition to that, the fantastic view of more than three million palm trees and a Sea Shell pyramid which was naturally formed through the years. All of these attractions are surrounded of 8000 acres of mangroves considered one of the largest in Latin America.
Nowadays, the port of Teacapan still preserves its native essence making of this town the ideal place for ecological tourism lovers. A boat trip will take us along the mangrove estuaries towards Bird Island, which is located almost at the limits of our neighboring state of Nayarit.
As we enjoy our pleasant boat ride, fish will jump near us and we will have the view of the estuaries where pelicans, sea gulls and white heron take their daily sunbathe. As an extra attraction, if we are lucky we will be followed by friendly dolphins.
Lunch is included at La Tambora beach, with enough time for swimming or strolling along the beach.
